Shannon Mace, JD, MPH is the Director of Policy Implementation at COCHS as well as the President of Community Oriented Behavioral Health Services (COBHS), a COCHS affiliated organization. Ms. Mace has over 10 years of experience working in the fields of behavioral health, public health and law. Shannon is skilled at working across systems to implement the Affordable Care Act and strategically address harmful social determinants of health. She assisted in the creation of the first medical-legal partnership in Southeastern Pennsylvania and was a Director of Practice Improvement at National Council for Behavioral Health prior to joining COCHS. Ms. Mace has also served as the Director of Policy and Planning at Baltimore City Health Department and the Health Reform and Health Equity Manager at Philadelphia Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services. Shannon is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and holds degrees in law and public health.
